Grandmas Essex
Family and Local History for the Dengie Hundred in Eastern Essex, England
Grandmas Essex has been operational since 1998 providing family history advice and information for the Essex villages of the Dengie Hundred (See below)
During this period we have built up a significant volume of local records and the ability to access other local records that may not be available to an independent researcher and of course developed an awareness of the local history events that affected our ancestors.
For data protection reasons data is not held on people who are reasonably believed to be dead or who were born less than 100 years ago.
Marshland maintains a large local website with considerable amounts of local and family history information for the villages of the Dengie Hundred. Click here to visit Grandmas Essex website.

Marshland does not undertake paid family history research although free advice is provided that will help with information and point people in the right direction for further family history enquiries.
